In January 2026, St. Brigid Parish formally kicks off the Generation to Generation: Answer the Call campaign.

Our parish's participation in the campaign, along with all parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago, will meet the needs of our parish and support Catholic ministries in Cook and Lake counties.

Our goal at St. Brigid is to raise $1,555,000 in pledges payable over five (5) years from our parish families. Fifty percent of the funds from these pledges will go toward the parish needs listed below. The remaining fifty percent will go towards spiritually renewing our church, supporting our priests, and assisting vulnerable communities.

St. Brigid Parish exceeded our goal by additional 17% ($1,812,735).

OUR PRIORITIES

• Our Lady of Humility: Plans include refreshing the Hayes Room and front office with new flooring, paint, furniture, lighting, windows, and audiovisual improvements.

• St. Patrick: Planned projects include security enhancements, restroom updates, chimney repairs, interior repainting, and stained-glass casement restoration.

• Building a unified parish vision: A new VOiP phone system will streamline communication, and the St. Brigid Ministry Fund will help sustain and grow ministry, evangelization and outreach.

FIRST PROJECT

• We are happy to report our first Generation to Generation project is now complete. St. Patrick School replaced twelve air conditioning units. Of those twelve units, five were paid for by your generous donations totaling $37,200. (posted 9/18/26)
